Join our team for a 13-week contract assignment where your clinical skills and compassionate care will support patients through some of the most important treatments of their lives. You’ll be working in a collaborative outpatient environment with a focus on excellence, evidence-based practice, and patient-centered care.
**What You’ll Do**
As a Clinical Nurse, you’ll provide hands-on, evidence-informed care aligned with the California Nursing Practice Act and institutional standards. Your key responsibilities will include:
+ Delivering holistic, family-centered care to BMT and hematology/oncology patients
+ Managing all phases of the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
+ Collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
+ Monitoring patient progress, identifying adverse reactions, and escalating when appropriate
+ Educating patients and families on care protocols, medications, symptom management, and follow-up
+ Creating a healing, supportive environment through presence, empathy, and clear communication
+ Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards
+ Participating in shared governance, staff education, and quality improvement initiatives
Pay Range for this opportunity is $54 - $85 DOE
**What You Bring**
Required:
+ Active California RN license
+ Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
+ At least 1–2 years of RN experience in an acute or outpatient setting
+ Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
Preferred:
+ Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
+ Outpatient BMT and/or Hematology-Oncology experience strongly preferred
+ Familiarity with chemotherapy protocols, central line care, transfusion procedures, and patient education

**Pay Details:** $54.00 to $85.00 per hour
