Position Description
As a Clinical Medical Lead, you will guide and support the Clinical Medical Managers (CMMs) team to identify Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), investigators, and research centres within relevant therapy areas. Some of your main responsibilities will include:

Facilitate the execution of clinical trials by providing medical/scientific expertise and advice, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Collaborate with clinical operations teams in Mexico, LATAM, and the Clinical Development Center (CDC) during feasibility and allocation processes. Drive early scientific therapeutic area development and ensure KOL inclusion in clinical trials. Deliver medical guidance by creating and delivering internal training to clinical staff. Contribute to scientific retention and recruitment (SRR) activities and support Investigator Sponsored Studies in collaboration with local Medical Affairs teams. Provide leadership and development opportunities for the CMMs team to ensure success in their roles.

 

Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you need to have:

Medical Doctor degree required; PhD in healthcare or life sciences is an advantage. Minimum 8 years of experience in Medical areas within the pharmaceutical industry, and at least 3 of those working with clinical research. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical drug development and the local healthcare infrastructure. At least 3 years of leadership experience, guiding teams within clinical trials, clinical development, or medical affairs. Fluent English.

Nice to have:

Experience in Cardiometabolic diseases is a strong plus.
