This is an office-based role working Wednesday to Sunday, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM, within the scope of a valid California clinical laboratory license.What You'll Be Doing:Perform and report automated and manual clinical laboratory test results with minimal supervisionMaintain laboratory supplies and prepare reagents required for daily testing operationsVerify quality control, release laboratory results for reporting, and notify supervisors of factors that may influence test resultsSupport assay improvements, new assay configurations, and validation activitiesEnsure compliance with CLIA, CAP, safety, quality, and company proceduresMaintain a clean, organized work area and complete required training and continuing educationSupport audits, inspections, special projects, and training activities for laboratory personnel as assigned

What We Are Looking For:Bachelor's Degree required0-5 years of relevant experienceWorking knowledge of Good Clinical Laboratory Practices (GCLP), CLIA requirements, and clinical laboratory quality control proceduresProficiency with general laboratory techniques and complex testing procedures in areas such as Hematology, Molecular, Microbiology, Auto Chemistry, Special Chemistry, Immunology, or Flow CytometryOther Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:Ability to troubleshoot laboratory equipment, resolve process issues, and perform complex laboratory calculations including averages, means, standard deviations, and quality control metricsStrong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyHigh attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to build effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clientsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $46,200.00 - $96,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
