As a Clinical Evaluator, you’ll conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations, establish provisional diagnoses, develop treatment plans, and make referrals across our service lines. You may also provide safety planning and brief therapy, with the potential to supervise clinical trainees pending approval. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely and compassionate connection to care.

Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct comprehensive screenings and assessments to determine service eligibility and appropriate care pathways
· Develop treatment plans and provisional diagnoses based on assessment outcomes
· Provide brief therapy sessions or safety planning when needed
· Refer individuals to appropriate programs and ensure coordination of follow-up services
· Maintain timely and accurate documentation of client interactions and clinical decisions
· Collaborate with team members to meet department service goals and reduce client cancellations
· Participate in emergency response and crisis intervention services when necessary
· Attend department meetings, training sessions, and peer review staffings
· Present educational materials in public settings to promote mental health awareness
· Support program evaluation, grant efforts, and data collection as needed
· Adhere to ethical guidelines, compliance standards, and clinical documentation policies
· Complete all required trainings and respond to critical incidents per agency protocols
· Other duties as assigned by department leadership
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field required
· State licensure required (LPC, PLPC, LCSW, LMSW, LP, PLP, PLMFT, or LMFT)
Additional Qualifications:
· Must be at least 18 years of age
· Must possess a valid driver’s license, have an acceptable driving record, and maintain current auto insurance
· Must maintain unrestricted licensure for practice area and work location
· Proficient in written and verbal communication, including with diverse populations
· Able to apply logic, problem-solving, and sound judgment in clinical decisions
· Must be able to perform basic mathematical operations as needed
Physical Requirements
· Sedentary work – involves mostly sitting with occasional walking or standing
· Occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force
· Frequent use of hands, fingers, and arms for typing or writing
