Job Description This role is on site M-F and will go back and forth between two hospital locations in Richland, WA and Walla Walla, WA. Insight Global is looking for a Clinical Engineering Manager. You will oversee the daily operations of the hospital’s medical equipment service program, including preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, special projects, and strategic planning initiatives. This role ensures the effective and compliant management of biomedical assets to support patient care and clinical operations. You will be responsible for managing vendor contracts and owning departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals and operational needs. You will also be responsible for upholding all organizational safety standards, avoiding shortcuts that could compromise safety, and proactively identifying and addressing unsafe practices. Skills and Requirements -Bachelor's Degree or applicable military training -OR- Associate's Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronics Technology - OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience -4+ or more years of experience working as a biomedical technician -or- biomedical military training -1+ year of experience working in a leadership role such as a Team Lead, Supervisor or Manager -Experienced in developing and managing departmental budgets, capital equipment planning, and financial forecasting to support clinical engineering operations in a healthcare setting
