Job Summary: The position’s emphasis is on training, implementation, reporting, and maintenance of the training curriculum.  

Job Duties: 

Provide EHR technical support on-site and off-site for Valley Health CentersCurriculum developmentThrive/deep dive trainingsUpgrade or updateNew user/onboardingCollaborate with Training Manager and Clinical Trainers to ensure consistency in training materialProvide tip sheets for updated or new workflowsMastery of non-clinical system functionality and workflowsCoordinate training of clinical and front office staff on the Electronic Health Record SystemAssist with POMIS training as neededProvide general Citrix trainingAssist with the maintenance of the electronic communication systemMaintain limited non-clinical practice within a Valley Health centerAssist with routine weekly reportMaintain compliance with the organization’s confidentiality policy in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).Other duties as assignedMust be available to work weekends, as needed. 

Working Conditions:  

Works in climate controlled normal medical office environment. This position may require sitting or standing for extended periods of time, as well as bending, and reaching.Required to lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Frequent travel is required of this position.

 

Qualifications:  

Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse with a minimum of one year experience within a Valley Health Center who demonstrates an interest and aptitude for electronic communication.
