Job Summary

Summary<br>Responsible for developing and delivering professional development programs and in-service training sessions for healthcare professionals.<br><br>Does this position require Patient Care?<br>No<br><br>Essential Functions<br>-Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs and develop comprehensive training programs aligned with the organization's goals and regulatory requirements. <br>
-Conduct needs assessments, analyze training gaps, and design learning objectives and outcomes for in-service training sessions. <br>
-Develop training materials, including presentations, handouts, e-learning modules, and multimedia resources, using instructional design principles and adult learning techniques. <br>
-Incorporate innovative training methods and technologies to enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention. <br>


 

Qualifications

Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Certified Registered Central Service Technician [CRCST] - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) preferred Experience Previous experience in designing and delivering training programs for healthcare professionals, preferably in a CPD or professional development capacity. 3-5 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills needed to maintain constructive working relationships within and outside of department. - Problem solving and conflict resolution skills. - Program planning and organizational skills to effectively manage work and educational data collection. - Customer service skills are required to effectively meet the needs of the staff and in building departmental and external relationships. - Basic computer skills required to communicate electronically and to work with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
