The Clinical Education Manager will manage and coordinate Field and HCP Training Programs globally with TMTT.
Role is open to considering candidates based in Irvine CA, hybrid based out of EW corporate office, or US or EU based, remote. Regular domestic and international travel to various training and case sites and to Irvine CA required.
How you'll make an impact:
Obtain certification and maintain high subject matter expertise at a Clinical Specialist Device, Imager and Trainer levelDevelop and lead the execution of Clinical Specialist Device, Imaging, and Field Trainer training programs including lab-based and case-based training with efficient use of resources (Labs, Trainers, Training equipment, etc.)Manage region requested field certification requirements and track timely progress and completion including training, case observations, cases supported and final sign-off for certificationPartner with Global Training to develop training plans and programs executed through the Edwards Learning Network (ELN) that meet the changing needs and priorities of the business and regionsPartner with regions to help identify ideal clinical specialists and trainersSupport on-going requests including SME and trainer case coverage, HCP training, and continued education until regions reach training independenceContribute to global training efforts, including content and tool development, initial regional launch support, and new products/indications launchesMeasure effectiveness of programs through post-meeting survey instruments, direct field and region feedback, and KOL review. Collaborate with Global Training to increase training program effectiveness and ensure overall stakeholder satisfaction from a content and educational perspective.Provide SME training support for team members through coaching, training and assessmentsOther incidental duties
What you'll need (required):
Bachelor's Degree in related field with minimum 8 years experience in medical device and or clinical experience or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria requiredMaster's Degree or equivalent in in related field, 6 years experience of previous related medical device and/or clinical experience or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteriaDomestic and international travel up to 65%What else we look for (preferred):
Experience in cardiac sonography or echocardiography, or clinical field training roleDirect clinical experience as either a clinical specialist, nurse, sonographer or in a technical product support role with procedure room knowledge.Postgraduate degreePrevious experience within the cardiovascular industry. Structural heart experience is highly valued. Experience in Mitral and Tricuspid valve therapies preferred.Formal Education and Clinical Experience in one or more of the following specialties is strongly preferred: Nursing (RN/BSN/MSN), Physician Assistant (PA-C), CV Sonography (RDCS/RDS), RCIS/CVT/RTR, Physician (MD).Clinical experience from industry-related positions that support HCP training, field training, clinical development and clinical case support.Interventional Echo-navigation Imaging experience, particularly with 2D/3D TEE and CT-imaging for screeningAdvanced facilitation and presentation skillsTrack record of successful project / program managementProficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) and related systems and applicationsDemonstrates professional communication skills and relationship management skills including consulting, influencing, collaboration, and negotiation.Ability to develop strong relationships with regional customers, field and cross-functional partners. Works well in a multi-cultural environment and matrix organization.Demonstrates high level problem-solving, critical thinking, and strict attention to detailAbility to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

For California, the base pay range for this position is $157,000 - $223,000 (highly experienced).
