Responsibilities Directly manages all operational and clinical activity related to the assigned facility or territorySupervise, develop, and train all clinical staff, Assistant Clinical Director, supervising BCBA’s, BCBA’s, BCaBA’s, Behavior Consultants, and Behavior Technicians, in day to day operational activities on an ongoing basis to monitor their performanceSupervising all case management of clinical cases within designated facility or territory on a regular basis, monitoring client supervision, staff support, parent trainings, etc.Assist client and staff members through challenging situations including but not limited to parent concerns, client concerns, interpersonal concerns with other staff members, etc. in collaboration with other administrative teams as deemed appropriateMaintain clinical requirements for client supervision and management of caseload/assigned billable hours based upon the guidelines set forth by the specific insurance company or community mental health organization in addition to the specifications listed within Gateway policies and proceduresAssist, coordinate, and direct ongoing staff training, as necessaryConduct initial and ongoing client assessments, and based upon these assessments, design and maintain top quality treatment programs, which align with Gateway policies/procedures and organizational philosophy/missionCoordinate with Administrative staff to ensure that Gateway’s best business practices are met at all timesCoordinate initial assessments completion by the Assistant Clinical Director, Supervising BCBA’s, BCBA’s, BCaBA’s, Behavior Consultants as appropriateCoordinate clinical coverage for each given facility or territory and update as needed based upon clinician call outs, PTO, etc.Coordinate with other teams as needed to ensure clinical coverage necessary to maintain a safe and productive workplace throughout the weekOngoing collaboration with Regional Clinical Director to ensure all needs of a given facility or territory are metOngoing monitoring of client progress within territory including but not limited to review of treatment plans, review of monthly client utilization, review of weekly/monthly supervision and parent training completed to support each case, etc.Maintain client privacy in accordance with all HIPAA regulations and with Gateway policies and procedures manualPrepare and administer performance evaluations to staff, as necessary in collaboration with Human Resources and Regional Clinical DirectorIndependent caseload planning for assigned facility and/or territory on an ongoing basis to ensure appropriate caseload assignment for Assistant Clinical Director, Supervising BCBA’s, BCBA’s, BCaBA’s, and Behavior Consultants. Collaborating with the Regional Clinical Director as neededMaintaining a flexible schedule throughout that week to support the clinical team and the changing needs of the assigned facility/territory Qualifications Active BCBA certification and LBA licensure Open and flexible availability At least 3 years experience within the ABA field or working with children with developmental disabilities Excellent interpersonal, communication, & organizational skills Excellent analytical skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment when making decisions Strong leadership, organization, and management skills Great communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with staff and clients Problem solving skills when resolving administrative issues and conflicts Ability to delegate and supervise tasks as required Good understanding of budget and resources planning budgeting in addition to evaluation procedures and methods About our Line of Business Gateway Pediatric Therapy, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a leading provider of comprehensive pediatric therapy services.
