Salary: Up to £80,000 DoE
Working Hours: 40 hours/per week

Role Overview
This role represents a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader who is ready to roll up their sleeves and help shape the clinical culture and standards of our group. This is a rare opportunity to make a real impact, drive meaningful change and enable your team to thrive!
As Clinical Director, you'll take the helm of our talented veterinary team across all three sites. You'll split your time between strategic leadership and hands-on clinical work, helping guide our practice direction while staying close to the patients and people who make Broadway Vets special.
This role will see you inspire and lead your team, while setting and evolving clinical standards at the practice. You will facilitate continuous development while implementing a strong feedback and performance culture.
Together with our team of vets, you will also champion and maximise opportunities within our nursing team to support our nurses at the top of their licence.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Setting and evolving clinical standards, protocols, and governance
Inspiring and mentoring the vet team — including new graduates
Reviewing complex cases and championing clinical excellence
Collaborating with nursing and support leadership for truly integrated teamworking
Supporting recruitment, staffing strategy, and future growth
Facilitating CPD and developing a strong feedback and performance culture
What We’re Looking For
Qualified veterinary surgeon with demonstrable experience in general practice
Significant experience as a Lead/Head Vet or Clinical Director
Strong clinical skills and comfortable with advanced surgery and imaging
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
Ability to influence, inspire, and engage multisite teams
Commitment to professional development and creating a supportive learning culture
