Job Duties:
Assess, interpret, plan, monitor and document the nutritional status and nutritional needs of patients using evidence-based standards of care, policies and practice guidelines. Perform a nutrition-focused physical exam on patients. Identify and provide age-specific nutrition care to meet the cultural needs of the patients and their families. Work within an inter-disciplinary team to provide a plan of care to achieve the patient's medical goals. This position also manages and coordinates medical nutrition therapy of complex, high acuity patients within the dietitian's area of specialty practice. Educate patients, care givers, students and other health care colleagues on the effect of therapeutic diets and nutrition support to maintain/improve nutritional status.Demonstrate leadership skills by presenting on nutrition topic related to their expertise. Example of settings include journal club, in-service, Grand Rounds, THS-FANS program. This may also include participating on a hospital committee or THS -FANS sub-committee. Participate in department activities to enhance patient satisfaction. Keep current on nutrition research and incorporate into daily practice. Other clinical duties as assigned.Position Requirements:

Pay Range: $53,144.00 - $82,368 Annually
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
