Clinical Dietitian Location US-OH-ASHLAND System ID 980571 Category Nutrition Employment Status Full-Time Posted Range $47300 to $71390 Company : Segment Desc HOSPITALS   On-Site Role Overview Sodexo is seeking a full-time Clinical Dietitian for UH Samaritan Medical Center, a 55-bed acute care facility in Ashland, OH.  The Dietitian will provide general outpatient counseling to a variety of patient populations and disease states, including but not limited to weight management, diabetes, heart disease, oncology, and gastrointestinal disorders.  This position will also provide support for inpatients.   $5,000 sign-on bonus! 

Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal

Three weeks of vacation, eight holidays and three personal days paid each year

  What You'll Do Provide individualized one-on-one Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to clients of all ages through evidence-based nutrition careProvide inpatient nutritional care for a variety of inpatient unitsCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team regarding the patient's overall nutritional care planAssist with the growth and development of the outpatient programStay up to date with evidence-based practice regarding the management of acute and chronic conditions  What We Offer

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
