Job Title: Clinical Specialist, Governance Risk AssessmentJob Description

The role supports R&D/Clinical activities and the initiatives of the Convergence Governance team to implement and manage Governance Risk Assessment activities. This includes developing policies, procedures, and programs, leading various risk assessment tasks, analyzing data, and monitoring the Risk Management process. The position requires liaising with business process stakeholders across organizations and geographies to build, sustain, and leverage data governance risk assessments across Convergence-supported functions.

ResponsibilitiesMonitor the Risk Assessment Program for Convergence, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and all relevant regulations.Participate in Global and Local Risk Management documentation changes and change control activities impacting Convergence.Actively manage document processes within the Governance Risk Assessment System (Gov360) by ensuring timely updates and compliance with risk assessment standards.Coordinate directly with stakeholders to facilitate document submissions, track implementation of Risk Management action items, and maintain detailed records.Prepare and update Risk Management Metrics as specified in local and/or global procedures and produce Risk Management reports.Provide Governance training and support to the Training and Documentation area functions and related activities.Support compliance activities, including internal audits, and assist in investigation activities to identify trends and resolve exception events.Collaborate cross-functionally with different Compliance functions to align Convergence data Governance across policies and procedures.

Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in science, technology, law, ethics, compliance, risk management, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification is preferred.Two years of experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device companies, or healthcare industry.Minimum five years of experience in Information Risk Management or regulatory compliance.Strong project management, collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to adapt to daily changes and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.Experience working with internal clients across departments.Basic understanding of data storage and security principles.Ability to identify problems, analyze data, and present solutions.Self-starting, self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated leadership ability.Excellent written, oral, and computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.Preferred broad knowledge of information management and protection laws, regulations, and best practices.

This is a hybrid role based in Lake County, IL.

This is a Contract position based out of North Chicago, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
