Responsibilities

Responsible for leading data needs to support the data strategy for Dell Children’s heart center.  This hands-on role is a contributor for design & delivery of dashboards to and helping resolve technical issues to meet data request targets.   

 

The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication skills, proven data design, implementation capabilities, strong business acumen, and an innate drive to deliver results. They will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and will enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic health care environment.

 

This role will be required to work iteratively on the cloud platform, tableau and redcap to design, develop and implement scalable, high performance solutions that offer measurable business value to customers.

Required Work Experience:

 

Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills with the ability to effectively convey content to both technical and non-technical associatesExperience in a large scale, high-volume data warehouse environment.Experience with google cloud platform development tools Pub/sub, cloud storage, and big query.Solid independent analyst with limited guidanceDeep knowledge of SQL, REDCap, Google Workspace, Tableau, Informatica Data QualityProven expertise in data analysis techniques and toolsUnderstanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.Ability to clearly communicate and articulate results to both technical and non-technical audiences.Makes decisions regarding daily priorities for a work group; provides guidance to and/or assists staff on non-routine or escalated issues Collaborates with senior professionals in the development of methods, techniques and analytical approachAble to effectively communicate highly technical information to numerous audiences, including leadership, the user community, and less-experienced staff. Leads complex projects/activities on a regular basis and Exercises independent judgment on complex issues regarding job and related tasks Consistently communicate on status of project deliverablesConsistently provide work effort estimates to management to assist in setting prioritiesDeliver timely work in accordance with estimates

 

Preferred Requirements:

 

Business/systems analyst experienceExperience with data governance concepts, data quality management or principles for information risk oversightExperience in Master Data Management (MDM)Proven business analysis techniques including process workflow documentation and definition, current state documentation and requirements gatheringRisk-based mentality; Appreciates the significance of governing dataExpertise with modern open-source database development skills.Experience with version control platform githubMakes recommendations to leadership on new processes, tools and techniques, or development of new products and services Ability to advise leadership on approaches to optimize for data platform success.Solve problems as they arise and communicate potential roadblocks to manage expectations

Qualifications:

 

Adhere strictly to all security policiesProject Management experienceHealthcare experience - Worked in a healthcare environment; familiar with medical terminology
Requirements

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
