What We Offer We're seeking a Clinical Care Partner to join our remarkable team at the Novant Health Medical Group Neurology Team in Wilmington, NC. This position plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care and supporting our providers in a dynamic environment. Location: NHMG Neurology - 1515 Doctors Circle, Bldg A, Wilmington, North Carolina 28401 Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm -- No weekends and no major holidays! Status: Full Time Novant Health Neurology – Doctors Circle (Building A) offers care for both lifelong neurologic concerns and acute neurologic conditions. Conditions we treat include: Epilepsy and seizure disorders Headaches including migraines Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease; a condition involving progressive degeneration of nerve cells in the spinal cord and brain) Myasthenia gravis (a condition in which communication between nerves and muscles is lessened, resulting in weakness) Multiple sclerosis (MS; a condition in which the fatty tissue protecting nerves is harmed, making it harder for those nerves to conduct impulses from the brain) Parkinson’s disease ( a motor system disorder that affects muscle function) Alzheimer’s disease and other memory problems What You'll Do Key Responsibilities: Providing Compassionate Support: Your empathy and calm demeanor can help alleviate anxiety and create a sense of comfort and continuity throughout their treatment journey. Enhancing Clinical Efficiency: By managing patient flow, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with procedures, you set the team up for success and ensure patients receive remarkable care. Ensuring Coordinated Care: You are a vital link in the communication chain between the patient and the healthcare team. By accurately documenting information and coordinating appointments, you help ensure that every step of a patient's complex treatment plan is organized and seamless. What We're Looking For Education: High School or GED required. Experience: 2 years Acute experience for CNA 1 preferred. 1 year CNA2 or EMT preferred. 1 year Experience in healthcare setting or Physician Assistant or medical school student enrolled in an accredited program or gap year preferred. Licensure/Certification: (required) NA I in good standing within the NA registry; OR NA II in good standing with NA II certification with required state; OR EMT current credential in appropriate state; OR One year clinical (medical) office experience; OR Physician Assistant or Medical School student enrolled in accredited program or in gap year. Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing. Basic computer skills for documentation.
