**Description**
**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Clinical Pharmacy Business Analyst WFH will work with external vendors and internal business partnerships such as: physician practices, ambulatory clinical quality and operations leadership. The Business Analyst will help develop and maintain clinical supply chain activities that impact operational inventory efficiencies and expense. Additionally, the specialist will support clinical quality activities impacting patient safety.
+ Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure contract compliance
+ Develop and maintain relationships with practice personnel and leadership to ensure contract compliance
+ Work with preferred vendors and Supply Chain team to develop and maintain formularies specific to pharmaceutical, medical/surgical, and laboratory catalogs
+ Review historical supply expense spend to discover opportunities to work with vendors and practice personnel to reduce cost of targeted goods and services
+ Prepares supply chain spend compliance report (e.g. vendor compliance, cost savings/ avoidance and contract compliance)
+ Assists with pharmaceutical, medical/surgical, and laboratory recalls when needed and identify real time disruptions of supply chain
+ Supports with Clinical Quality Initiatives and Programs
+ Perform related work as assigned
+ Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:**
+ Ability to follow organization policies and procedures
+ Ability to work independently and make decisions within the scope of their authority
+ Knowledge of computer applications such as MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, word processing, and basic database use
+ Skill in verbal and written communication
+ Ability to work effectively with internal and external customers
+ Ability to communicate clearly
+ Knowledge of federal and state laws/regulations governing the practice of pharmacy
**EDUCATION:**
+ Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain Logistics or Nursing preferred
**CERTIFICATE / LICENSE:**
+ Maintain active clinical licensure/registration, as per State requirements in good standing, if applicable
