An exciting opportunity has arisen within the borough of Tower Hamlets to recruit a Clinical Administrator to support the work of this team.
The post-holder will be required to provide Clinical Administration support to the CGL-Tower Hamlets services. This exclusively involves management of all batch printing and processing all FP10 prescriptions for the CGL-Tower Hamlets.
Full time salary*: £25,077.00 Based on full time hours, pro rata for part time hours
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Location: Tower Hamlets
Allowances: £4133.14 Inner London Weighting (pro rata if part time)
*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
As a Clinical Administrator, you’ll play a vital part in supporting both our clinical and administrative teams. You will:
Take the lead in generating, processing, and batch printing prescriptions, ensuring they are produced and distributed accurately and on time.
Liaise with pharmacies and stakeholders to make sure all processes meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
Maintain and update databases and systems, providing timely and accurate information to internal teams and external partners.
Support with a wide range of administrative tasks including ordering supplies, invoicing, managing reception, telephone and front-of-house duties, building oversight, and IT/telecom support.
Ensure all visitors and service users feel welcomed, listened to, and supported when attending the service.
Collect feedback from service users to help improve their experience and contribute to ongoing service development.
Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service and support colleagues across the wider administrative team.
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills who can thrive in a busy, multi-disciplinary environment.
You will bring:
Strong knowledge and experience of office administration and procedures.
Confidence working with IT systems and databases, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and ideally Access.
Experience maintaining and developing data processes and reporting accurately.
Ability to generate and process prescriptions from a database.
Excellent attention to detail, numerical skills, and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
A calm, empathetic, and non-judgemental approach when working with service users.
Flexibility to work as part of a team or independently, staying calm under pressure.
