What you will Do:
Performs routine and trauma x-rays for the clinic, as appropriate to age related needs of the patient.Collects x-ray orders and prepares order so x-rays can be processed.General Patient CareProvides care appropriate to the age-related needs of the patients based on principles of growth and developmentActs as a collaborating member of the clinic medical home team and is highly committed to a team construct.Adheres to all safety, infection control and colleague health policies and procedures.Will be in the same space as the lab assistants and will help back them up by doing/learning the following:Will perform phlebotomy - can be taught.Will perform simple lab tests.Will process specimens.Hours/Schedule:
1.0 FTE (80 hours biweekly)
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved educational program of x-ray technologyAmerican Registry of Radiological Technologists registered; must carry an Iowa Permit to Practice and maintain CEUs. BLS. Mandatory Reporter.Position Highlights and Benefits
