This position would have regularly scheduled shifts during the weekday.
Typical schedule to be 2-3 day/week with variable hours depending upon coverage needs.
Pay rate is between $17-$23.50 per hour plus a 12% PRN hourly bonus.
This position plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our clinic in Whitefish, MT. Responsibilities include accurately registering patients, managing electronic health records, and providing excellent customer service as a liaison between patients, their families, and clinic staff. Duties also involve answering multi-line phones, maintaining up-to-date patient demographic and medical information, handling cashier transactions, and ensuring clear, professional communication both verbally and in writing. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a friendly, patient-focused approach are essential.

Qualifications:
Minimum 6 months office reception and customer service experience.
Proficiency in medical reception, office filing, and HIPAA compliance.
Typing speed of 45 WPM with at least 90% accuracy.
Experience with multi-line phone systems and computer use.
CPR certification required within probationary period.
Insurance Verification & Authorizations:
Responsible for verification of patients’ insurance coverage to ensure policies presented by patients have active coverage.
Responsible for verifying details of coverage such as visit limits, co-pays, and co-insurance.
Responsible for submitting and following up on authorization requests when a patient’s insurance requires it.
Experience with insurance verification and authorization preferred but not mandatory.
Patient Services & Administrative Support
Greet and register patients courteously; collect and enter demographic and insurance information into the EMR system.
Schedule and manage patient appointments; ensure availability of all necessary documentation for provider visits.
Answer multi-line phones, process voicemails, and relay messages professionally and promptly.
Handle incoming and outgoing faxes, including, and referrals. Following HIPAA guidelines.
Maintain accurate electronic filing of patient documents.
Create new patient accounts and obtain all necessary signatures and forms.
Billing & Payment Processing
Collect co-pays and other payments; post transactions accurately in the practice management system.
Reconcile daily general ledger; prepare and process end-of-day bank deposits.
Health Information Management
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations; manage secure release of patient information.
Handle reproduction, storage, and correspondence related to medical records.
Respond to incident reports and ensure records are properly handled and stored.
Clinic Operations & Compliance
Open and secure the clinic daily; support environmental safety and biohazard protocols.
Run occasional errands such as bank deposits, mail runs, or supply pickups.
Participate in staff meetings and comply with the organization’s Code of Conduct and Compliance Plan.
Report suspected policy violations to the appropriate authority.

Day Shift - Variable Hours (United States of America)Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
