Saint Luke’s Physician Group’s OBGYN Division is looking for an experienced Clinical Nurse Supervisor to join our team! This position will oversee a team of talented nurses, MAs and sonographers at our Women’s Health Plaza, Women’s Health North and Saint Luke's Urogynecology Specialists offices. As the Nurse Leader, you will be responsible for managing daily activities, supervising staff, ensuring high quality, patient centered care and a positive patient experience. You will work collaboratively with division leadership in maintaining our vision to be, “The best place to get care. The best place to give care.”
This position is scheduled to work Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: clinical leadership, clinical operations, patient and employee safety and satisfaction, quality care, fiscal management and personnel management. This is a hands-on opportunity, requiring significant interaction with leadership and staff. To be successful in this role, you will need to possess problem-solving skills, be task and results oriented, patient focused, and innovative.
You must be transparent and adaptable as this position requires the management of sudden changes. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously. We are seeking an individual who is high functioning, self-sufficient, and capable of managing ambiguity with at least a year or more of management experience.
The Shift: Monday through Friday day shift position working 8 a to 5 p
The Work:
Manages the provision of quality nursing care given within each clinic; supervise clinical teams daily functions and serve as staff resource Interview, select, train, develop, mentor, and evaluate clinical team members, provide timely feedback and conduct performance reviewsFacilitate orientation and onboarding activitiesAdministers corrective performance counseling and administrative action appropriatelyDevelop and implement processes to enhance clinic operations and practices for ongoing quality improvement related to staff productivity, efficiency and quality of patient careDesign and implement strategies to help the clinics meet organizational and/or division goalsAttend and/or conduct meetings for the clinic, division and systemEnsure compliance with SLPG policies and procedures, including QA, regulatory compliance, OSHAParticipate in direct patient care as neededCollaborate with nursing colleagues in ambulatory care to promote optimal utilization of nursing resources among the various clinicsPrevious Maternal Health experience as an RN strongly preferred.
