Clinic Nurse
Job Title: Clinic NurseJob Description

As a Clinic Nurse, you will manage the efficient flow of patients, including screening and preparation for exams, instructing patients on the collection of necessary samples and tests, and obtaining vitals. You will notify patients of test results and follow-up appointments, while also educating patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions. Additionally, you will manage patient records, including chart entries, and posting lab/tests results. You will schedule tests and treatments, arrange referrals to specialists, and obtain pre-authorizations when directed by the provider.

ResponsibilitiesManage efficient patient flow through screening, exam preparation, and vital sign collection.Notify patients of test results and follow-up appointments.Educate patients and families on medications and treatment instructions.Maintain patient records, including chart entries and posting lab/test results.Schedule tests and treatments, arrange referrals, and obtain pre-authorizations.
Essential SkillsExperience in OB and Women's health.Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and EMR systems.Triage skills.BLS certification.Licensed Registered Nurse or Medical Assistant.
Additional Skills & QualificationsAt least 1-2 years of experience in a hospital, physician clinic, or specialty clinic.Experience in case management and ambulatory care.
Work Environment

This position is located in a women's clinic at Overland Park Regional. Work hours are Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts starting at 7:30/8:00 AM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Overland Park, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
