Clinic Coordinator
Description We are looking for a dedicated and organized Clinic Coordinator to join a neurosurgery office in Los Angeles, California. In this contract position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic by providing administrative and patient support. If you excel in a fast-paced medical environment and have a passion for delivering excellent service, this role is perfect for you. Responsibilities: • Schedule and manage patient appointments, follow-ups, and medical procedures with precision. • Serve as the primary point of contact between the neurosurgeon, patients, and other healthcare providers. • Maintain and update patient records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and clinic policies. • Verify insurance coverage, obtain authorizations, and assist patients with billing-related inquiries. • Oversee the clinic’s daily operations, including supply inventory, room preparation, and managing the provider’s calendar. • Answer and route calls efficiently using a multi-line phone system, providing exceptional customer service. • Assist with data entry and other administrative tasks to support the neurosurgery team. • Ensure a welcoming and attentive experience for patients by offering concierge-level service. Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in administrative or medical office roles, preferably in a specialty clinic. • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle a fast-paced environment. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills focused on patient care. • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance verification processes. • Ability to manage sensitive information with a high degree of professionalism and discretion. • Experience with answering multi-line phone systems and providing concierge-level customer service. • Skilled in organizing files and maintaining accurate records.
