**Pay Range:** $18.87 - $26.66 per hour

**Summary:**
General Summary
Performs clinic activities, including answering telephones, patient and visitor reception, administrative office duties, administering involved systematic tests, performing clinic activities, and Health Information Management responsibilities. Creating a quality experience for our patients through excellent customer service. Required Job Qualifications
• High School diploma required;
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including spreadsheets and databases
• Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work with tight deadlines
• Sensitivity to patient health information and protection of confidentiality
• Ability to collaborate within multi-disciplinary team settings.
• Ability to build rapport, navigate sensitive topics, and maintain confidentiality with a diverse pool of patients
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to sit or stand while performing duties for several hours each day

Preferred Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
• Experience in neuropsychological testing preferred
• Prior EPIC experience preferred
• Prior patient contact, front desk, and medical office experience highly preferred
• Prior experience with cognitive testing preferred
• Prior experience working with older adults with dementia preferred
**Responsibilities:**
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Administers systematic tests and questionnaires, including the assessment of the level of function and/or response to intervention.
• May administer structured tests and questionnaires according to research study protocols.
• May assist with recruitment, screening, and scheduling potential study participants
• Performs a variety of office functions, including the retrieval and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, filing, stocking supplies, and dissemination of clinic correspondence and completion of Epic and Administrative In Box as directed
• Accesses EPIC to retrieve referrals, orders, and other documentation. Assists patients with Release of Information requests
• Assists patients in records retrieval for appointments
• Maintains accurate medical records and retrieves medical records per HIM and office protocol and accurate data entry
• Maintains accurate and complete documentation of signed informed consent and HIPAA Authorization forms
• Addresses patient calls promptly, efficiently, and courteously. Takes accurate, clear, and concise messages that provide sufficient information for the clinical staff and/or receiving party to handle the issue/request effectively
• Schedules, cancels and reschedules patient appointments as assigned. Places reminder calls or sends information to patients in advance of their appointment per office policy
• Appropriately transfers patients to pre-registration for insurance verification per RUMG policy
• Prepares and disseminates patient letters and other correspondence from EPIC
• Problem-solves issues by seeking out the appropriate resources
• Works collaboratively as part of the medical practice team
• Demonstrates compliance with RUMG Customer Service and Performance Standards
• Performs other duties as assigned per clinic protocol
• Ability to travel to offsite locations as needed. Schedule locations and shift times will vary given business needs
