Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Specialist to join our growing Specialist Team. This role focuses on enhancing the shipper experience for vendors and sellers using inbound transportation services. The ideal candidate will work directly with shippers to identify performance gaps, implement solutions, and drive continuous improvement through coaching and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze daily transportation data.Address real-time transportation disruptions and barriers.Investigate and resolve root causes of shipping defects.Maintain detailed daily logs for assigned accounts.Lead weekly performance calls with shippers.Facilitate Daily Business Review stand-up meetings.Required Skills:
Strong background in account management and customer service.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Problem-solving skills in logistics, transportation, and supply chain operations.Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.Ability to manage disruptions and deliver effective solutions.Experience in logistics, supply chain, or related fields (minimum 2 years preferred).Exposure to industries such as event coordination, real estate, sales, or hospitality.Basic data analysis skills and experience writing process improvement proposals.Entry-level proficiency in Excel and data interpretation.Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset.Work Environment:
This is an on-site position with a comprehensive two-week training program. You’ll collaborate with top-tier clients and receive robust support in developing technical and interpersonal skills. The role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
