Client Solutions Lead – Cloud Infrastructure area

Role Purpose
Avanade is seeking a professional to lead the Cloud Infrastructure Pre-Sales area for Azure, someone who thrives in complex environments and can effectively handle uncertainty. This person will spearhead the pre-sales area, defining and executing the commercial strategy, acting as both a technical and strategic reference for clients, and positioning themselves as a trusted advisor within the Avanade ecosystem and for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Go-to-Market
*
Design and lead the sales strategy for the Cloud Infrastructure area in collaboration with the regional leadership team.
*
Align initiatives with Microsoft and other strategic partners to ensure an effective joint strategy.
*
Craft Avanade's value proposition in a way that helps clients understand what makes Avanade different in every proposal.
Client and Partner Relations
*
Represent Avanade in public presentations, industry events, and meetings with C-level clients (CIO, CEO, etc.).
*
Actively listen to client needs and translate them into effective, scalable solutions, maximizing the value of our clients' investments.
*
Build trusting relationships with clients, positioning yourself as a strategic advisor in digital transformation.
Commercial and Pre-Sales Support
*
Work closely with sales and project teams to build high-impact proposals, optimizing our clients' investments.
*
Participate in generating commercial proposals. Have the capacity and experience to estimate effort, define teams and appropriate profiles, ensuring that solutions fit the client's needs and maximize investment value.
*
Proactively support pre-sales processes, demonstrations, and workshops with clients.
*
Drive the adoption of Azure solutions among new and existing clients.
Service Management and FinOps
*
Experience managing Azure services, including operational aspects, governance, and optimization.
*
Knowledge of FinOps practices to ensure financial efficiency in cloud service consumption, aligning costs with value delivered to the client.
Leadership and Culture
*
Work with highly qualified teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
*
Promote the development of technical and commercial skills within the team.
Requirements
Experience and Skills
*
Proven experience in pre-sales, consulting, or commercial leadership roles in infrastructure solutions, with deep knowledge of Azure.
*
Experience in preparing tailored commercial proposals for clients, including estimations and team definitions.
*
Knowledge in Azure service management and application of FinOps practices.
*
Excellent communication, influence, and presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences.
*
Ability to define commercial strategies and lead their execution.
*
Strong client orientation, with sensitivity to understand their challenges and propose suitable solutions.
*
Experience working with Azure and a deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem.
*
Languages: Fluent Spanish and English.
Education
*
University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related areas.
*
Certifications in Azure, cloud architecture, FinOps, or commercial leadership are valued.
