Best Friends Animal Hospital is looking to add a full-time Receptionist to our front desk team.

Our Receptionists are the face of our practice. This role plays a crucial part in supporting our clients and patients by delivering exceptional customer service.

Create and present financial estimates and treatment plans Guide clients through check-in, discharge, check out Handle financial transactions Effectively resolve client questions via phone and email Take ownership in building trust and relationships with clients Create appointments and gather patient history prior to appointment dates Assist with patient discharges, updates and follow up calls Triage incoming requests Maintain patient records Work closely with our medical teams to ensure a positive outcome at each visit

The best candidates have:

1+ year experience in a customer service role; veterinary experience is preferred  A deep, genuine care for helping people Naturally empathetic and articulate communication A friendly and professional demeanor Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Comfort working with computer software
