Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and resilient Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our front desk team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for clients, responsible for managing a high volume of phone calls, appointments, and walk-ins while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities: Greet clients and pets with warmth and professionalism Answer multi-line phone system and respond to inquiries promptly Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar efficiently Check clients in and out, process payments, and handle billing questions Maintain accurate client and patient records in the practice management system Communicate clearly with veterinarians, technicians, and other team members Handle emotionally charged situations with empathy and tact Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and inventory tracking Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree preferred Minimum 1 year of customer service experience (restaurant, veterinary or medical setting a plus) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working with animals and their owners Proficient in computer systems and scheduling software Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings What We Offer:Competitive hourly wage Health, dental, and vision insurance (for eligible employees) Paid time off and holiday pay Employee pet care discounts Opportunities for growth and continuing education A supportive and passionate team environment
