As a Client Services Director (“CSD”) you will possess significant captive experience, ensure exceptional service to both internal and external clients across a diverse portfolio. The CSD plays a key role in achieving business objectives related to client retention, satisfaction, operational performance, and continuous improvement. This role involves managing client relationships, overseeing financial processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving sales/retention efforts, leading a high-performing team to meet company goals and shaping client service transformation. How you'll make an impact Serve as the primary contact for a diverse portfolio of captive insurance clients Oversee financial management including fee structures, financial reporting, forecasting, audits, and GAAP compliance Ensure regulatory and legal compliance, lead interactions with regulators Develop and implement client board meeting strategies and attend board meetings to effectively deliver key financial information related to the captive Drive sales and retention through stewardship, whitespace discussions, and business planning Lead a client service team in meeting deliverables, providing feedback, mentoring, coaching, and developing talent Act as a company director and contribute to governance, risk, and compliance strategies Manage internal controls and contribute to continuous operational improvement About you Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACA, or ACCA) Bachelor’s degree in insurance, risk management, accounting, or finance 10+ years in financial services, including 8+ in captive insurance or reinsurance Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, client-facing environment Deep understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory frameworks Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making abilities Company and Benefits Competitive salary up to $180k based on qualifications and experience.
