Client Services Account Specialist- Spectrum Business

Are you an expert in billing and collections with a knack for resolving complex customer issues? As a Client Servies Account Specialist at Spectrum, you will serve as the primary advisor for carrier customers—leading cross-functional efforts to resolve billing inquiries, disputes and collection matters. Your analytical skills and collaborative approach will drive solutions that enhance the customer experience and ensure accurate account management.


How You Will Make an Impact

Proactively manage assigned customer accounts using phone and email as primary communication tools to enhance the customer experienceDevelop long-range service plans and positioning strategies to retain revenue and build customer loyaltyConduct regular meetings and account reviews, serving as a customer advocate to secure satisfaction and address concernsCoordinate with internal departments through written and verbal communications to resolve client needs and inquiries, including leading internal conference callsMaintain and update internal databases with accurate customer information and ensure compliance with control procedures and contract trackingSupport internal teams such as Customer Experience, Marketing, Product and Collections with customer notifications, business intelligence and communication activities.Utilize desktop tools and billing/CRM systems to effectively resolve customer issues and prevent escalationRetain customers by probing for satisfaction, skillfully managing negotiations and resolving complaints using strong listening and decision-making skillsMonitor internal reports for process compliance and may assist in analyzing customer surveys. Stay current on post-sales support systems through training

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience3+ years of CSG or other billing system experience2+ years of sales relationship administration experience2+ years of Salesforce.com or equivalent CRM experience

Ability to read, write, speak and understand EnglishCourtesy, patience and professionalism in customer relationsEffective prioritization and organization of multiple projects and tasksAbility to collaborate and demonstrate strong teamwork and thrive in a fast-paced, structured and high transaction environmentCapability to work independently and while seated for prolonged periodsProficiency with computers and software applications including Word, Excel, billing systems and Salesforce.comComposure in stressful situations with skills to diffuse challenging customersStrong critical thinking, analytical and communication skillsIntermediate proficiency in relevant software applications or technology
