CIBC’s Summer Internship Program is a dynamic, 10-week experience (June through August) designed to complement your academic training and support your career aspirations. Centered around the core theme of Learn, Connect, Grow, the program offers a comprehensive blend of opportunities to expand your skills and professional network.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.
This program will be approximately 10-12 weeks in duration and consist of a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday. There is flexibility to work from home, but in-office attendance is highly encouraged.

As a Private Wealth Client Service intern, you will:
Specific internship responsibilities are determined closer to the start date and depend on the needs of the hiring department. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Providing integral support for client service teams and special projects as assigned/requestedRunning daily, monthly and quarterly asset allocations and performance reportsAssisting in the production of client meeting books and portfolio reviewsMonitoring daily trade, overdraft and distribution reportsProcessing various money movement and cash requestsCoordinating quarterly correspondence and communications to clients maintenanceResolving business issues using systems and dataOffering recommendations as to how to improve business processes and efficienciesMay perform additional projects upon requestWho You Are:
Current undergraduate studentMinimum GPA 3.0Demonstrated interest in Finance, Economics, Management, or related majorsExpected Graduation Date between December 2026 and June 2027must also be authorized to work within the U.S.How You’ll Succeed:

This role has an expected hourly rate of $25.00 per hour for the Massachusetts market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.
