**Client Service Representative – Veterinary Hospital**

**Position Summary:**
The **Client Service Representative (CSR)** is the first and last point of contact for our clients and plays a key role in ensuring an excellent client experience. This position is responsible for providing professional, friendly, and efficient customer service both in person and over the phone while supporting the smooth operation of the hospital.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Greet clients and patients warmly upon arrival and provide a welcoming, professional environment.
+ Answer incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to client inquiries promptly and courteously.
+ Check patients in and out for appointments, surgeries, and boarding.
+ Accurately process payments, maintain financial records, and balance the cash drawer.
+ Communicate clearly with clients regarding hospital policies, services, estimates, and patient care updates.
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and patient records within the hospital management software.
+ Assist with managing prescription refills and coordinating client communications regarding patient care.
+ Collaborate with veterinary and technical staff to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional service.
+ Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, email correspondence, and maintaining the reception area.
**Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist, in animal care, or in a customer service role strongly preferred.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
+ Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
+ Basic computer skills and familiarity with veterinary practice software (training provided if needed).
+ Reliability, attention to detail, and a genuine love for animals and their care.
+ Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
