What this job involves:

As Client Finance Manager, you'll serve as the strategic financial leader for one or more key client accounts within our Workplace Management business line. This senior leadership role positions you as the vital financial liaison between JLL's operational teams and our clients, where you'll lead a dedicated finance team while taking ownership of all financial aspects of your accounts. At JLL, we embrace more innovative ways of working, and in this role, you'll combine strategic vision with hands-on execution across the full financial lifecycle—from implementing robust accounting processes and ensuring compliance to delivering insightful budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses. You'll build strong relationships across regions, maintain audit-worthy financial practices, and optimize processes that support both client success and JLL's profitability in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
 

What your day-to-day will look like:

Provide strategic financial direction and advice to JLL operational teams, serving as the trusted financial advisor for client account management and decision-making

Lead, coach, and develop your finance team to achieve high performance, clear goals, and professional growth through regular feedback, succession planning, and career development initiatives

Build and maintain proactive relationships with client financial managers and business units across the region, ensuring service levels consistently meet or exceed expectations

Coordinate and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting to both client and JLL management teams, producing monthly variance analysis with insightful commentary on performance drivers

Manage the complete budgeting and forecasting cycle in partnership with JLL operational teams and client finance stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives

Oversee day-to-day financial operations including invoice processing, payment management, cash flow monitoring, and JLL receivables to maintain healthy working capital

Ensure robust financial controls and data integrity across all systems, including balance sheet reconciliations, cash reconciliations, and SOX compliance requirements

Drive continuous improvement in finance processes and systems efficiency, identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness

Own profitability reporting for your client account(s), tracking cost savings initiatives and providing analysis that supports commercial decision-making across the region
 

Required qualifications:

University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or similar recognized accounting designation)

3-5 years' experience in a similar finance management position, ideally within professional services, real estate, or client-facing environments

Proven experience managing and developing teams of 2-5 people, with demonstrated ability to lead both directly and through influence

Previous EMEA or international experience working with cross-regional teams and clients across multiple markets

Strong financial acumen at both strategic and operational levels, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights

Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, with experience using financial management systems

Outstanding organizational and time management skills with proven ability to deliver accurate results under tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
 

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in real estate, facilities management, or workplace services sectors

Track record of successfully implementing process improvements or system enhancements that drive efficiency

Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data visualization capabilities

Experience with enterprise financial systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms)

Strong presentation and communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders and client executives

Demonstrated success in managing multiple client accounts or complex, multi-site portfolios simultaneously
