What does a successful Client Development Manager do? 

Overview:  As a Client Development Manager at Fiserv, you will be instrumental in cultivating and enhancing client relationships. Your role involves aligning our innovative solutions with the distinct needs of each client, helping them navigate the dynamic financial technology landscape. With a commitment to excellence, you will drive mutual growth and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with clients to identify their business objectives, providing tailored solutions, and fostering partnerships that contribute to overall success.

What you will do:

Client Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with key clients to ensure trust and satisfaction.Needs Assessment: Identify and understand client needs, providing tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and client feedback to refine sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (such as product, technology and operations) to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions.Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to address concerns, share updates, and ensure alignment on goals.Proposal Development & Upselling and Cross-Selling: Prepare and present business cases, proposals, contracts, and service agreements to clients, emphasizing value and benefits. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services to enhance client portfolios.Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in all client interactions.

What would be great to have:

Prior experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.Knowledge of Fiserv’s products and solutions.Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools to track performance and drive strategy.Proficiency in project management.
