Description Client Associate / Client Service Associate A reputable and growing wealth management firm is seeking a Client Associate to support advisory teams and deliver a high‑touch client experience for high‑net‑worth households. This role blends client service, operational support, relationship management, and light financial planning tasks—ideal for someone who enjoys being client‑facing, detail‑oriented, and a key part of a collaborative team. About the Role The Client Associate will work closely with financial advisors, serving as a primary point of contact for clients and helping manage day‑to‑day account activity. You’ll assist with onboarding, account maintenance, financial documentation, meeting preparation, and ongoing service needs. The ideal candidate is proactive, and eager to grow within the wealth management industry. Key Responsibilities Client Service & Relationship Support + Serve as a primary contact for client inquiries, account activity questions, online access, and service needs + Support client onboarding, account opening, transfers, and ongoing account maintenance + Assist with financial planning data gathering and client meeting preparation + Attend client meetings and help present relevant materials when needed + Manage life‑event updates and ensure all client information is current and accurate Account Operations + Process cashiering requests (wires, journals, checks, deposits, redemptions) + Complete subscription documents, cash management tasks, and RMD support + Reconcile account activity, transfers, and daily transactions for accuracy + Maintain client files and documentation in accordance with compliance standards Administrative & Team Support + Prepare reports, presentations, and client correspondence + Assist with internal projects, marketing initiatives, and event support + Provide general administrative assistance to the advisory team + Participate in required compliance and continuing‑education sessions Skills & Key Attributes + Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills + Highly analytical, organized, and detail‑oriented + Professional presence and strong client‑facing demeanor + Friendly telephone manner and strong service orientation + Self‑motivated, flexible, reliable, and eager to learn + Able to handle confidential information with discretion + Thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic work environment Requirements Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) + 2+ years of experience in any of the following: + Working with high‑net‑worth clients at a CPA firm (tax experience) + Working as a Client Associate at an RIA, broker‑dealer, Schwab, Fidelity, etc. + Strong understanding of investment products, account types, and basic regulatory requirements + Prior client service experience in financial services strongly preferred + Series 65, or willingness to obtain (Series 7/66 also valued) + Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and financial software (eMoney a plus) Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
