Job Title: CLIA Lab Technician
Job Description

The CLIA Lab Technician plays a crucial role in supporting department goals and efforts, working closely with both general and technical teams. The technician is expected to proactively complete tasks and assignments, and report any issues to the General team. Routine participation in laboratory cleaning according to established SOPs is required, along with troubleshooting and problem-solving using logical methods. The position operates under supervision and requires timely completion of duties with a focus on quality.

ResponsibilitiesResponsible for sample accession, testing, and reporting.Perform routine proficiency testing.Conduct operational qualification on instruments.Adhere to all lab policies and procedures.Essential SkillsProficiency in CLIA and Q-PCR.Experience with Real Time PCR and LIMS.Skills as a Medical Laboratory Technician.Competence in liquid handling.Work Environment

The position is within a CLIA testing lab. The environment encourages long tenure and offers great benefits once hired. Contractors receive holiday pay, and there are opportunities for career advancement. The role is open for shifts from Wednesday to Sunday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
