Responsible for providing administrative/clerical duties at the location. Other general duties include greeting the general public, answering questions, providing funeral and cremation information and other related topics, answering phones courteously and in a polite manner with a goal to meet or exceed customer expectations.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform day to day administrative duties as required which may include: preparing and reconciling in-house reports, understanding and processing cemetery and funeral contracts, receiving and or processing payments and delinquencies, accurately recording data in the system; ordering cemetery merchandise and office supplies, greeting family members and friends; operating a telephone system; office duties such as filing, inventory management, scanning, liaising with other cemeteries, funeral homes and vendors.Participation in Interment Verification ProcessCommunicates client family needs promptly and accurately to the teamCreates a sense of concern and empathy with client family membersIf problems arise, demonstrates a caring attitude while calmly and efficiently bringing the situation to the attention of a staff member who can provide resolutionThis is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the essential functions or duties related to this jobMINIMUM Requirements
2+ years’ administrative experienceProficiency in MS Office environment, including MS Word and MS ExcelProfessional telephone mannerism and commitment to excellence in customer serviceStrong organization skills and ability to prioritize workloadStrong initiative and ability to work well under limited supervisionExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbalAbility to work well in a team environmentAbility to troubleshoot problems and meet deadlines andFluency in English, both written and spoken.Work Conditions
