Description We are offering a position for a Billing Clerk in our Phoenix, AZ office. The main tasks of this role include processing customer applications, maintaining precise customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. This role also requires monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action. Responsibilities: • Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. • Maintain precise customer credit records. • Document all ticket information correctly and ensure its accuracy. • Identify discrepancies or incomplete tickets and implement corrective action. • Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve issues or clarify ticket details. • Work with other departments or teams to ensure timely ticket closure and effective resolution of issues. • Take full responsibility for the ticket closure process, ensuring all steps are completed and issues are resolved before closing. • Provide feedback and support to team members to improve processes. • Manage deadlines and work under pressure to meet performance targets. • Adapt to new processes, tools, or changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Maintain a positive and detail-oriented demeanor even under pressure. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook • Experience with the 'About Time' software • Strong billing skills, with an emphasis on accuracy • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies • Experience in closing processes, ensuring all tasks are completed • Ability to navigate and resolve complex issues • Proficiency in 10 key skills, for efficient data entry • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with the Windows environment • Experience with ticketing systems, for tracking and resolving issues • Ability to take corrective action when necessary, to maintain quality standards • Ability to work effectively with internal teams, fostering collaboration and teamwork • Detail oriented demeanor, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude in all interactions • Ability to meet performance targets, demonstrating a commitment to high-quality work • Familiarity with photocopying and scanning documents, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
