This is a full-time, non-exempt position

The role works Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and may occasionally require additional time on a weekday or weekend, depending on business needs.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Clerical Assistant. This position provides essential administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient office operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Clerical Assistant will report to the site management team and support other departments as needed.

Position Responsibilities:Promote and follow all safety procedures, programs, and policiesSort, organize, and upload documents in accordance with company standardsComplete payroll processing and maintain accurate attendance documentationUtilize office equipment to make copies, scan documents, and update computer databasesType forms, correspondence, memos, and other business materialsMaintain filing systems for efficient recordkeeping and retrievalAssist with special projects and assignments as directed by supervisorsServe as a point of contact for employees regarding administrative and policy-related inquiriesTrack and organize hourly time sheets, vacation requests, and sick timeSupport onboarding activities and maintain personnel files in compliance with company guidelinesDemonstrate a collaborative, detail-oriented approach and contribute to a positive team environment
Position Requirements:High school diploma or GED required; some college preferredMinimum of 3 years of office or administrative experience preferredHR experience or prior exposure to HR-related tasks, including experience supporting unionized workforces, is preferredProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)Strong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management skills with a high level of attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesProfessional demeanor with the ability to work independently and maintain confidentialityDemonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing prioritiesCommitment to teamwork, reliability, and continuous improvement
