Job Title: Cleanroom Technician
Job Description

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling high-quality medical devices within a controlled, sterile, and medical-grade manufacturing area.

ResponsibilitiesWork in a 'clean room' environment.Perform assemblies under a microscope for 6-8 hours daily.Process polymer materials to compose, test, or apply on medical devices according to approved manufacturing procedures.Assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices following approved manufacturing procedures.Perform in-process quality checks on subassemblies and finished products.Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, and microscopes.Participate in line meetings as needed.Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggest improvements.Maintain clean room integrity through proper attire and adherence to clean room environment practices and procedures.Maintain accurate records/documentation related to quality, work in progress, test results, labor, and special projects.Apply workstation practices and line clearance in daily activities.Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies, QSR, and FDA regulations.Essential SkillsExperience in clean room, medical device, or manufacturing is preferred.Attention to detail and hand dexterity are essential.Ability to learn and be trained on new skills and equipment.Experience with microscopes and mechanical assembly is preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.Ability to work with small plastic and metal components.Capability to maintain production levels in a high-volume manufacturing setting.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a cleanroom setting where wearing PPE all day is mandatory. The dress code is business casual with a professional and clean-cut culture. Employees must refrain from wearing jewelry, makeup, eyelash extensions, fake nails, perfumes, or colognes. First shift hours are 7am-3:30pm, and the second shift is from 3:30pm-11:30pm. There is a 5-7 week training period.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danvers, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.20/hr.
