Cleanroom Technical Operator
**Job Title: Cleanroom Technical Operator - San Diego, California - $22/hr** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician to perform a wide variety of assigned tasks aimed at producing high-quality products. The role involves work order processing, assembly of piece parts into completed sub-assemblies, and interpreting quality data to make processing decisions. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work area and may be involved in operating various liquid-handling robots, performing kitting and packaging functions, and using complex automated robotic systems to manage product workflows. Additionally, the role includes assembling electro/optical/mechanical systems, aligning complex optical systems, and handling chemical solutions, which may include hazardous materials. **Responsibilities** + Perform assigned manufacturing tasks to produce high-quality products. + Complete work order processing to add products to inventory. + Assemble piece parts into completed sub-assemblies using typical assembly tools. + Make processing decisions based on interpreting quality data. + Maintain a clean and orderly work area. + Operate various liquid-handling robots and perform kitting and packaging functions. + Use complex automated robotic systems to manage product through an automated workflow. + Assemble electro/optical/mechanical systems requiring testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting. + Align complex optical systems using in-house software and instruments. + Handle the assembly, storage, and disposal of chemical solutions, including hazardous materials. **Essential Skills** + Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. + Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 25 lbs. + Proficiency in operating automated equipment and using basic hand tools. + Capability to read and adhere to Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GDP, and cGMP. + Basic computer skills with Windows OS and various computer applications such as SAP and Camstar. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with cleanroom environments. + Medical assembly and inspection experience. + Ability to follow work instructions with attention to detail. + Hand dexterity for precise assembly tasks. + Strong documentation skills (GDP) and adherence to current good manufacturing practices (cGMP). **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a clean and friendly workspace with a cafeteria for lunch, and be part of a supportive team culture. As a contractor, you'll have access to many onsite perks. **Work Environment** The role offers a base pay rate with a 5% shift differential for the 2nd shift, running from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The final 30 minutes of the shift fall under the 3rd shift, including a 10% shift differential. Opportunities for weekend work and cross-shift collaboration may be available as needed. The team is large, and the environment is fast-paced, requiring a quality-focused mindset **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.05 - $22.05/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
