**Job Title: Cleanroom Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Cleanroom Assembler to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate will handle both repetitive and non-repetitive assembly tasks involving electronic and mechanical cable assemblies and electrical sub-assemblies. Utilizing a computer tablet for instructions, drawings, sketches, and wiring diagrams, you will employ your expertise in cable/wire termination and crimping specifications, using hand tools, semi-automatic and manual wire crimpers, and various power tools. The role also involves periodically lifting up to 30 pounds and using a tape measure for precise measurements. **Responsibilities** + Perform assembly operations on electronic and mechanical cable assemblies. + Utilize computer tablets for accessing instructions and diagrams. + Apply knowledge of cable/wire termination and crimping specifications. + Operate hand tools, wire crimpers, and various power tools. + Measure wire lengths accurately to 1/8 of an inch. + Lift up to 30 pounds periodically. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in assembly and wiring tasks. + Experience with hand tools and power tools. + Ability to use a computer tablet for instructions. + Knowledge of cable/wire termination and crimping specifications. + Capability to lift up to 30 pounds. + Measurement precision using a tape measure. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 6 months to 1 year of wire assembly experience. + 1 year of manufacturing experience. + Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions. **Why Work Here?** Our facility provides an extremely clean and art-filled work environment, housed in a temperature-controlled building. Team members have personal lockers and may listen to headphones or iPhones while working. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans and work-appropriate shirts or sweatshirts. Team sizes vary from 20 to 30 employees, with most work done independently at 'cell' workstations. Seating is not guaranteed, but some roles offer this option. The company is family-oriented, adding staff during busy seasons to maintain high standards. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, Iowa. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
