This assembler role is responsible for the day-to-day production and packaging of components used in our medical devices. You will be a key member of a manufacturing team dedicated to safety, quality, continuous improvement, and achieving production goals. In this role, you will work in a clean room manufacturing environment that requires you to wear personal protective equipment including eyewear, ear plugs, hair net, and protective gowning. **Responsibilities** + Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations following Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures. + Work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, and written or verbal assembly instructions. + Set initial layouts and use a variety of tools to prepare products. + Make continuity checks on work in process and completed work. + Conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications. + Operate packaging machine. + Box and apply labeling materials. **Work Environment** You will work in a clean room manufacturing environment requiring personal protective equipment. The position is a 2nd Shift role, Monday - Friday from 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM. The work environment is air-conditioned and allows for a sit-down job. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
