Job Description

WHAT'S THE JOB?

We are seeking a professional and organized Cleaning Supervisor for a fixed-term position in Petawawa, Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing cleaning operations, managing staff, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.

Supervise and coordinate a team of cleaning staff, assigning tasks and schedulesConduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are metTrain new employees on proper cleaning techniques and safety proceduresManage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipmentImplement and enforce health and safety regulationsAddress customer concerns and feedback promptly and professionallyPrepare reports on cleaning operations and staff performanceCollaborate with other departments to maintain a clean and safe environment

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or in a similar leadership roleStrong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and best practicesExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to lead and motivate a team effectivelyProficiency in creating and managing schedulesStrong attention to detail and quality controlFamiliarity with health and safety regulations in the cleaning industryExperience with inventory management and budget controlExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent; cleaning industry certifications preferredAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as neededPhysical stamina to perform occasional cleaning tasks and equipment demonstrations
