Cleaning Supervisor Facilities CoordinatorJob SummarySupervise 3rd shift union workforce managing sanitation and housekeeping operations. Ensure high-level service delivery through team management, compliance oversight, safety standards, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting budget tracking and client satisfaction. Reports to Housekeeping Manager.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Operations
Supervise 3rd shift union workforce in sanitation and housekeeping processesCoordinate employee PTO/vacation scheduling and coverage managementManage Team Concept Cleaning Program, conference room setups, and employee developmentCompliance & Safety Management
Ensure 100% employee safety training compliance and maintain safety standardsManage OSHA, state, and local regulatory compliance requirementsOversee HAZMAT and environmental compliance initiatives, emergency response cleanup programsBusiness Process & Client Management
Support budget tracking, cost-saving initiatives, and KPI performance metricsManage Client Business Process Management Program and customer satisfaction surveysImplement continuous improvement initiatives for housekeeping operationsBuilding Systems & Communication
Coordinate security, building utilities, life/safety systems, and evacuation plansProvide superior customer service and collaborate effectively with teams for service deliveryCommunicate professionally with clients, management, and team membersRequired QualificationsEducation & Experience
High School diploma or equivalent2+ years experience with housekeeping processes and operationsExperience supervising union workforce or similar team environmentsCore Competencies

Associate degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or related fieldProfessional certification in housekeeping management or facilities operationsSafety certifications (OSHA 10/30, hazmat training)Specialized Experience
Experience with union workforce management and labor relationsKnowledge of building systems including security, utilities, and life/safety systemsExperience with budget management, cost-saving initiatives, and KPI trackingBackground in environmental compliance and waste management programsLeadership & Technical Knowledge
Supervisory experience in facilities or housekeeping environmentsExperience with emergency response procedures and cleanup protocolsUnderstanding of energy conservation and environmental initiativesExperience with client satisfaction surveys and continuous improvement programsWorking Conditions3rd shift position in industrial facility environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals, equipment, and varying temperatures. Requires flexibility for emergency response and coordination with multiple shifts. Involves supervisory responsibilities and hands-on operational support as needed.
