We currently have an opportunity for a Cleaning Services Manager. Join our Government & Integrated Facilities Management team to play a key role in providing front line management and supervision of cleaning activities across a portfolio within the Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) contract. Principally the Cleaning Services Manager is responsible for directing and leading a team delivering cleaning services through employees to meet agreed contractual standards. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract. The role is a night-time position operating between the hours of 7.30pm to 3am.
What You’ll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
Planning, organising, and prioritising work in order to meet targets and strict deadlines and provide timely and accurate information to both internal and external stakeholders.
Develop effective working relationships with both the client and the contract team ensuring the successful delivery of all operational cleaning projects.
Build and maintain mutually beneficial client relationships and promote our range of services to the client. Actively seek to identify and develop new business opportunities and drive growth within the contract.
Regularly monitor contract performance to ensure compliance standards and KPIs are met and that service is provided in accordance with the specifications and terms of the contract.
Demonstrate an ability to lead and take on the responsibility of ensuring all work tasks are completed in a timely, accurate and compliant way.
What You’ll Bring
A qualification in Cleaning Operations is desirable, or tertiary qualifications in a business or commerce related discipline (or demonstrated equivalent professional training and experience).
Proven experience in the management of multisite cleaning operations under a commercial arrangement.
Experience working in a professional cleaning capacity, with experience in commercial contract management preferred, including Contract and KPI management, Client relationship development and contract growth, and day to day administrative and auditing tasks.
Demonstrated experience in the review of work schedules and client reports, and other performance data used to measure goal achievement and to determine areas needing improvement.
An understanding of integrated facilities contracts and statutory obligations.
