Job Summary:

The Plant Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the Material Recycling Facility (MRF). This role supports daily operations by ensuring work areas are free of debris, hazards, and clutter, contributing to a safe and efficient environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain floors, walkways, sorting areas, and equipment surfacesRemove debris and recyclable materials from designated areasPerform general custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, and trash disposalAssist with basic maintenance and upkeep of facility equipmentFollow all company safety procedures and wear required PPESupport other team members as needed to maintain operational flow

Qualifications:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the shiftComfortable working in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperaturesReliable and punctual with a strong work ethicSafety-conscious and able to follow instructions preciselyPrevious experience in industrial or custodial work preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly Rate: $19/hourBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Paid Time OffSchedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends as neededShift: 7am – 6pm
