Pay: $14.66/hour during training
Hours 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
*To maintain an immaculate work area meeting FDA and ADEM compliance while practicing good housekeeping habits.
*Assemble and inspect all cleaning tools and equipment. Replace anything substandard. Incudes high pressure water and air hoses, various squeegees and brushes, heavy duty mop handle and mop heads, roll around mop bucket and ringer, 36" dust mop, various shovels, roll around barrel and trash cans and assorted heavy duty trash bags.
*Insure all equipment is in proper place and easy to reach as needed.
*Check scales and grounds first.
*Clean off the scales using high pressure air hoses, brushes, etc
*Clean out the drug room, and ingredient storage rooms. Contact Quality Assurance to dispose of spillage properly.
*Clean the warehouse floors removing empty pallets, cleaning up spills, and restacking items to eliminate clutter.
*Clean the bendix level.
*Clean around truck receiving by removing all trash, cleaning up spills, laying down absorbent litter to pick up oil, and other oil based fluids.
*Clean and maintain the hammer mill.
*Be prepared to clean any spill that is reported. This involves having the proper cleaning equipment ready at all times. Nothing should be washed off and allowed to simply drain. Most every spill must be contained, mopped or swept up, and disposed of in the proper containers.
*Clean the grounds and around the equipment related to barge receiving. This includes the marine leg, the auger system, the surrounding grounds.
*Operate the "bobcat"(a loading vehicle) when needed.
*Clean up the basement.
*Take the empty trash bags out of the ingredient and drug rooms.
*Tour the grounds and the truck scale area to insure everything is in order.
*Check the ingredient room, drug room, and the mixing room to insure everything is stocked and well kept.
*Walk through the office area to make sure everything is fine.
*Clean the break area.
*Store all the cleaning equipment in their proper place.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Repetitive motion includes back shoulder, arm, wrist, hand, and finger movement.
Employee must be able to lift 100 lbs. from floor level to full extension of the arm and forearm above the head 30 times in a three-hour period. Must be able to walk distances exceeding 100 feet one way 30 times in a three hour period and covering an area that exceeds S acres. Must be able to ascend and descend a 30-tread staircase 30 times in a three-hour period. Must be able to work in confined or restricted work areas 3 hours in duration. Must be able to work in wet to arid working conditions with temperature ranges 0 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit for a ten-hour period of time. Must be able to work at heights exceeding 200 feet with little or no confinement.
