**Job Title: Clean Room Sort & Tally** Job Description The Clean Room Sort & Tally position involves refurbishing surgical instruments through a meticulous cleaning and sorting process. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in a clean room environment. Responsibilities + Sort and tally surgical instruments ranging from 10" to 30" in length. + Move cases through a metal detector before initiating the cleaning process. + Gown up in clean room attire at the start of each shift. + Lift bins weighing up to 50 pounds into a dishwasher-style unit (infrequently). + Perform manual sorting, cleaning, power washing, and chemical cleaning of surgical instruments. + Label and sort cleaned instruments into their designated bins. + Participate in sweeping daily and mopping twice weekly as part of an all-hands duty. Essential Skills + Ability to stand for the entire shift. + Willingness and capability to gown up in clean room gear. + Quality mindset and attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Entry-level candidates are welcome, training will be provided. + No specific experience required, but willingness to learn and cross-train is essential. + Ability to work with surgical instruments that may have residual blood or feces. Gown up in full clean room gear, including smocks, booties, gloves, beard nets, hair nets, plastic visors, and safety glasses. Closed-toe tennis shoes and plain shirts are required. Shifts are 5 AM - 1:30 PM (First shift) and 1:30 PM - 10 PM (Second shift), Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday overtime. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, Arizona. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
