Clean Room Assembler
**Job Title: Clean Room Assembler** **Job Description** The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling high-quality medical devices within a controlled, sterile manufacturing area. **Responsibilities** + Process polymer materials to compose, test, or apply on medical devices per approved manufacturing procedures. + Assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures. + Perform in-process quality checks on subassemblies and finished products. + Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, and microscopes. + Participate in line meetings as needed. + Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggest improvements. + Maintain clean room integrity by using proper attire and adhering to clean room environment practices and procedures. + Maintain accurate records/documentation related to quality, work in progress, test results, labor, and special projects. + Apply workstation practices and line clearance in daily activities. + Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures, QSR, and FDA regulations. **Essential Skills** + Attention to detail and hand dexterity. + Ability to learn and be trained on new skills and equipment. + Experience with microscopes preferred. + Experience in clean room, medical device, or manufacturing preferred. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. + Ability to work with small plastic and metal components. + Ability to maintain production levels in a high-volume manufacturing setting. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that values long-term growth and offers ample opportunities for career advancement. The professional and clean-cut culture requires no jewelry, makeup, eyelash extensions, fake nails, perfumes, or colognes. Business casual attire is expected. The first shift is from 7am-3:30pm, and the second shift is from 3:30pm-11:30pm. There is a 5-7 week training period. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danvers, Massachusetts. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.20/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
