Chico Unified School District is currently recruiting: Substitute Senior Office Assistants, Substitute School Office Managers, Substitute Cafeteria Assistants, Substitute M & O Coordinator, Substitute School Aide, Substitute Senior Custodian, Substitute School Bus Drivers Type 1 & 2, Sub Library Media Assistants, and Substitute Instructional Assistant/Paraprofessionals. Positions have varying shifts and times, Monday through Friday.

Requirements / Qualifications

All substitutes/employees must complete the following: • LiveScan Clearance (fingerprints) • TB Clearance • Keenan Safe Schools Mandated Trainings • New Hire Packet (I9, W4, etc.) with 2 forms of ID required Additional requirements: Instructional Assistant/Paraprofessional: Pass District Competency Test OR meet the District's NCLB requirement, may require First Aid and CPR Certification. Cafeteria Assistant M & O Coordinator School Aide: Current CPR/First Aid certification. Senior Custodian: Possession of current, valid Driver's license. Senior Library Media Assistant Senior Office Assistant School Office Manager: Current CPR/First Aid Certification. School Bus Driver Type 1 and 2: Meet/Maintain requirements for valid California School Bus Driver's Cert with acceptable restrictions, with First Aid training and DMV Medical Examiner's Cert. Possess a current, valid commercial driver's license.
